A sketch for Boston

A little study for a much bigger project.

“There Wasn’t a Single Unicorn in Boston That Day.”

This one is a long story - about 26.2 miles long, actually. I gotta say , I REALLY am not comfy working at this scale. It’s like trying to paint on a friggin triscuit. This study is 4x6” at best estimate. First image was where it started, second image was my ‘too much’ gene kicking in. I had sent the second image to a good friend remarking how I went overboard. He sent me back image 3, which actually got me thinking I had somehow ripped off an artist despite using a photograph from a stock site to sketch it up. Upon closer inspection, my friend is amazingly skilled with photoshop.
.
This really goes to show how scale and context can totally change your perspective on your work.
.
Keep doing yours.
